German Kabirski took the crystals exactly as mined, unpolished and untreated, wrapped each in sterling silver and joined them into a single mosaic in his stained glass technique, so Vitrea is built from green rather than decorated with it. The silver is plated in black rhodium, which turns the seams into dark lead lines, with a gold-plated bail as the one warm note.
