MY ACCOUNT

I want to buy an item from germankabirski.com. Do I have to create an account?

You have several options. You can create a new account to revisit again or you can simply use our guest check out option. We would recommend creating a proper account so that you can login and view your details and order information as well as track items that you have purchased more easily.

MY ORDERS

I have ordered my items. When will I receive them?

Normally it will take around one to two business days to progress your order through our system if the items are available. Bear in mind this may be different for pre-order items, and it may take longer for delivery. Your location also affects the delivery time, and if you want more information on this, please look at our shipping section.

I have already placed my order but need to update it/cancel it. What do I do?

Provided it has not already been through our system and begun packaging, we will be able to make an amendment to your order or cancel it, if you wish so. Please remember that some orders can be processed earlier than others through the website so we would remind you that you must inform us of any changes as early as you can. We are not able to place additional items to an existing order that has already been placed. If you wish to make additions to your order, you must create a new order and give us both of the relevant order numbers. Our system will merge the orders into one before shipping takes place. We will also reimburse any relevant shipping fees.

SHIPPING

How will my order be shipped?

For international orders, we use BorderGuru for shipping. In the case of US and Canadian orders, we use Fedex Express Post. You will be informed of the timing of the delivery and the costs involved. You will also receive any information on estimated taxes associated with your order at the checkout. The estimated delivery shipping times are detailed below. Please remember that it often depends on the postal code of your area as to the length of the delivery time:

USA/Canada - 3/5 business days

International - 3/7 business days

How much is the shipping? 

  • Shipping is on us for all US orders 
  • International orders - shipping fees are calculated upon the check out 

How long it will take for my order to ship?

The shipping and processing times depend on the items you're ordering. The status of each product (preorder or in stock) is indicated on each individual product page, as well as the estimated shipping date.

Preorder: we don’t have it on hand yet but it’s coming soon! You can still purchase it in this state, be sure to note the estimated shipping date.

In stock: it’s in our facilities and ready for a new home! Shipping timelines are usually within 3 business days from today's date but be sure to note the estimated shipping date on each individual product page. You'll see it above the "Add to Bag" button.

If you're ordering multiple pieces and the status and shipping date of each are different, the order may be split in two or it may ship on the latest date. Use this rule to determine your shipping date: if the difference between the dates is more than 8 business days, the order will be split in two. If the difference is less than 8 business days, it will be shipped together once all items are available (on the latest shipping date). Keep in mind that only orders shipping within Canada or the US are eligible for split shipments. Your estimated shipping dates will also be noted in yourGerman Kabirski profile and confirmation email once the order is placed!

Will I be charged duties and taxes?

International orders: duties and taxes are calculated and paid at checkout for all international customers and there are no additional charges upon delivery.

Is signature needed upon delivery?

All shipments require a signature upon delivery, so we do not ship to PO Boxes, APO or FPO addresses.

EXCHANGE & RETURNS

Is there a return policy? How does it work?

Orders that are placed in the USA are made with the offer of a complimentary returns system when items have been unused or not worn. This is applicable for purchases that have been within 30 days of receipt. If you wish to start this process, we ask that you go to our Returns and Refunds section. The address to contact is service@germankabirski.com so that we can provide any return instructions that may be specific to your order.

It is worth nothing that we will not be able to accept any return or allow an exchange credit for items and designs that are part of a final sale promotion or for end of line/retiring designs. We also wish you to know that we cannot accept any returns that are sent to us that do not have permission to be returned. If you require any more assistance or want to ask a question regarding your returned item, please contact service@germankabirski.com.

Do my items have a warranty?

German Kabirski promises that your items will be completely free of any defects or problems from manufacture for one complete calendar year from purchase. These types of defects may include issues such as missing pave stones (under .01ct) broken clasps, diamonds or prongs that have come loose. What is not included in manufacturing defects are; scratches, stretched rings/chains, wear and tear, lost or damaged jewelry due to improper care, storage or cleaning processes. We are proud of our designs and our manufacturing process so giving your jewelry item to any outside jeweler or third party for alteration will immediately make your warranty with us null and void. I am having difficulty with my return. What should I do?

If you encounter any return/refund problems with your order or your return/refund request, then please email us at service@germankabirski.com

What do I do if I simply don’t like my item? Can I exchange it?

Unfortunately, we don’t give exchanges for any of the jewelry in our collection. But you can ask for a return or a refund in the form of credit. You will then be able to make a new order for a new item.

How long does it take to issue the refund?

When your item makes its way back to us it can take around 5-10 business days for us to process it. We will contact you via email with information on your refund, credit or a replacement item.

How does the process work for gift returns?

you wish to return a gift item; we can give you store credit if it has been returned within 30 days. If you ensure that the return guidance is followed so that the credit can be applied. If you didn’t see them, please ensure the following:

  • That the original tags are still attached to the item.
  • The packaging is still intact.
  • There is no wear and tear on the item.

We will then place store credit on your German Kabirski Account, so you need to ensure that you have an account set up before you return your item. Any original shipment costs, taxes or duties are non-refundable and aren’t included in the amount that we credit.

Please email us at service@germankabirksi.com asking for your return label. We also ask that you tell us the postal address that the jewelry will be sent from and the email address on your German Kabirski account so that we know where to refund the credit.

MATERIALS & CARE

How should I best clean my jewelry?

If you wish to do some basic cleaning, a dish soap with a mild formula is best. Mix it with warm water. Or alternatively use a good brand of jewelry wipe. A deeper clean is recommended by using a Magnasonic cleaner which is the perfect choice for getting rid of any small dirt or particles that get trapped in the crevices of the jewelry.
