You can easily do this at home using a slim strip of paper and a pencil. Simply encircle your chosen finger so the paper strip snugly fits around it. Make a mark with your pencil where the paper touches.

Description

The Lafta Ring challenges conventional ideas of finish and form. Cast in 925 sterling silver, its wide band is covered in an organic, irregular texture — a surface that could read as bark, skin, or scorched metal. It’s this raw, almost biological quality that defines the ring’s identity — deliberately unpolished and defiantly tactile.

Set into the surface is a natural blue topaz, faceted and clean against the rugged metal. The precision of the stone placement plays off the chaotic texture beneath it, creating a quiet tension between control and disorder. The band’s substantial width adds visual weight, while the irregular patterning keeps it dynamic from every angle.

This version is finished in sterling silver, but the design is also available with black rhodium and gold plating, paired with a natural blue sapphire. No matter the variation, the intent remains the same: to explore what happens when high craft embraces imperfection.
