Thyre is a mixed metal bracelet made from titanium mesh and sterling silver, plated with dark ruthenium. The structure is wide yet light — the titanium mesh forms an airy inner skeleton while the silver shapes the outer body. Across the surface, cabochon blue sapphires are set using German Kabirski’s original setting method, where stones are fused into the metal without traditional prongs or bezels. They appear as quiet blue orbits emerging from a living, irregular texture. This bracelet reflects Kabirski’s ongoing study of contrast — industrial material against organic form, softness of gemstone against raw metal surface.
