Telos Stained Glass Disc Pendant with Rough Blue Sapphire

Telos is a round disc built entirely from rough blue sapphires, each one wrapped individually in silver and locked into the piece next to its neighbors, the way lead holds panes together in an actual stained glass window. Every sapphire kept its natural shape from the ground. The silverwork works around each edge rather than cutting the stones down to fit, so the disc's final outline came from the crystals themselves, not from a template German drew first.

Plated in black ruthenium and gold over sterling silver, Telos is a single piece with no second version anywhere. The exact arrangement of stones only existed the one time German laid them out, and it can't be recreated with a fresh batch of sapphires. This is wearable art for one owner, made to be worn as a fixed piece of who they are.
