Lucidus Singular Edition Natural Trillion Cut Amethyst & Raw Pink Spinel Silver Pendant

The silver here is pierced through, openwork rather than solid, and around those openings something has grown — irregular stems and outgrowths that look less designed than cultivated, studded with raw pink spinels in their original mined shapes. Held at the centre is a large trillion-cut amethyst, geometric and precise, in deliberate argument with everything creeping around it. White rhodium and 18K gold plating over sterling silver keep the two halves of that argument visible: cool light on the openwork, warmth in the growth. Handmade once, and no attempt made to calm it down.
