Tau Singular Edition Cross Shaped Natural Raw Ruby, Pink Sapphire & Blue Sapphire Silver Pendant

The cross is formed from interwoven silver bands, each one filled along its length with uncut rubies, so the shape reads as something braided rather than cast — closer to rope or root than to the architecture of a conventional cross. A few of the bands run past the joins and finish in single raw stones, pink and blue sapphires left exactly as they came out of the ground, like ends that kept growing after the form was decided. Tau takes its name from the oldest cross shape there is, and the piece has that kind of weight: organic, physical, and heavier in the hand than its size suggests.
