Sídhe Cross Silver Pendant with Raw Yellow Sapphire and Lemon Quartz

Sídhe reworks German's cross shape into three vertical and two horizontal lines of natural rough yellow sapphires, crossing each other at 90 degrees, silver underneath and plated in 18K gold. At the top and to the side sits an oval cut lemon quartz, matched close to the sapphires' tone, so every stone on the piece pulls into one continuous color running across the whole cross.

The sapphires kept their rough, unenhanced texture straight from the ground, giving the cross a surface that catches light unevenly along every line. This is a singular design, made once, built as a personal, concept-driven piece of wearable art for one owner. It's German's own take on the cross shape he keeps circling back to, done here in a register that has nothing to do with religion and everything to do with that very special person wearing it.
