Pleroma Disc Pendant with Amethyst, Raw Pink Sapphire and Golden Cockroach

Pleroma is a stained glass disc built from raw, unspoiled pink sapphires locked edge to edge across the whole surface, 925 silver underneath, plated in white rhodium and gold. A cushion cut amethyst sits on top, and the main figure on the piece is a cockroach cast in gold — German's totem animal, the thing he keeps coming back to when he wants to talk about beauty showing up somewhere nobody thought to look for it.

Most people build jewelry around what's already agreed to be beautiful. German built this one around an insect everyone agrees to hate, because the whole point of his work is that difference and imperfection carry more truth than anything polished to fit expectations. Pleroma is a singular piece, one owner only, and it's less about decoration than about which values you're willing to wear on your body.
