Turru Rare Ancient Mesopotamian Artifact Pendant with Green Sapphires

This medallion holds a rare, genuine Mesopotamian artifact at its core, its surface showing the pitting and wear of an object that's been buried for thousands of years before finally being found. We named it Turru after an old Akkadian term tied to binding spells and incantations, since pieces like this were often carried as protection against exactly that kind of harm. Small green sapphires are set around the artifact, their clean cut color giving the ancient piece a sharp, modern contrast against its rough, aged surface.

The setting itself is finished in 925 silver, plated with a mix of black ruthenium and gold, so the medallion carries both a dark, weighted presence and warmer gold highlights at once. As with any real archaeological find, this one is one of a kind, since no two artifacts pulled from the ground centuries apart ever come out identical.
