Huwawa Genuine Ancient Mesopotamian Maskette Amulet with Raw Garnet

Huwawa, known to most through the Epic of Gilgamesh, was the fearsome guardian of the Cedar Forest, and clay masks of his face were kept in Mesopotamian homes as protective amulets for thousands of years. This piece is one of those genuine ancient maskettes, its twisted, intestine-like features exactly as carved by the hand that made it long ago, with all the wear and rough texture that comes from surviving that long. A raw garnet sits alongside it, left uncut and unpolished so its natural crystal form stays intact.

Rather than leaving it as a museum piece, our designer built a wearable setting around it, so this genuine artifact can be worn as the protective amulet it was always meant to be. Since it's an authentic historical find, it's naturally one of a kind, with no duplicate anywhere.
