Description
This pendant is named after the kestrel - the smallest of the falcons, known across continents for its precision, stillness before the strike, and the ability to hold its position against any wind. At its center sits an authentic ancient Native American flint arrowhead, hand-knapped from dark stone by a maker whose skill required no tools but stone, patience, and an understanding of force and fracture. Such arrowheads could originate from any number of significant periods in indigenous North American history - the Paleo-Indian Era (15,000–7,000 BC), the Archaic Period (8,000–1,000 BC), the Woodland Period (1,000 BC–500 AD), the Mississippian Culture (800–1,600 AD), or the Plains Culture (900–1,700 AD). Each is unique. Each carries a story that predates the written word. Set in 925 sterling silver plated with black ruthenium and 18K gold, with two natural raw yellow sapphires set at the shoulders - uncut, immediate, golden as the sun at the moment of release. This is a singular edition - handmade by the designer himself with no second copy in existence. For those who understand that the oldest technologies were also the most precise. PLEASE NOTE: This pendant is made with an authentic ancient artifact and natural raw gemstones that may exhibit cracks, scratches, and color irregularities - these are not flaws, but marks of authenticity and age. Gemstone colors may appear differently depending on lighting conditions; please refer to the model photo for the most accurate representation.
