She spread her wings over kings at their coronation and over the dead on their way to the afterlife, and her image was carved, cast, and worn for thousands of years as the ultimate symbol of divine protection. The stone at its center is an authentic ancient Egyptian vulture figurine carved from dark stone, dating to the Late Period–Ptolemaic Period (circa 664–30 BCE). Wings fully outstretched, body compact and powerful, feather ridges carved with precision across every surface - a form made to be recognized, to be carried, to protect. Two original suspension holes are still present in the body, evidence of a life worn close long before this setting was made. Set in 925 sterling silver plated with 18K gold, with a natural fancy-cut blue topaz - deep and architectural in its hexagonal form, a stone of clarity, divine communication, and sky.
