Description
Named after the owl figures carved into Mesopotamian seals and amulets, this pendant is built around a real, authentic artifact — a genuine ancient owl carving, worn and uneven the way old stone actually looks after thousands of years, and being an actual archaeological piece, it's naturally one of a kind. A natural green opal is set above the owl's head, and it glows with that soft, shifting light moving inside the stone.
Our designer took this ancient artifact and set it into a contemporary design, giving it new life. Cast in 925 silver and finished with black ruthenium plating, the pendant works as an amulet meant to be worn close to the skin, the same way owl talismans were used in the past.
