Xylon Authentic Ancient Mesopotamian Amulet Pendant with Natural Raw Ruby

The artifact at the heart of this piece is a rectangular flat stone with a cross carved directly into its surface by hand, thousands of years ago. Xylon draws on that history of protective symbols carried close to the body, back when a cross-marked stone like this was believed to guard whoever wore it. A natural raw ruby sits within the piece, left uncut so its rough crystal form and deep red color come through exactly as it formed underground.

This entire ancient stone is set into 925 silver and finished with black ruthenium plating, which gives the old, worn carving a dark, grounded frame while the raw ruby's color still stands out clearly against it. Because the piece is built around a real archaeological artifact, it's one of a kind — nothing else like it exists.
