Strix Ancient Owl Shaped Artifact Pendant with Natural Rhodolite Garnet

The name Strix comes from Roman and Greek folklore, where it described a night owl seen as an omen, tied to old superstitions about creatures that moved between worlds. This piece takes that idea literally: it's built around a real, authentic owl-shaped artifact, carved long ago and carrying the rough, uneven surface you'd expect from something that old. A natural rhodolite garnet is set into the piece, its deep reddish-purple tone giving the worn carving a spot of real color and life.

Our designer worked this ancient piece into a modern setting, pairing it with 925 silver to give it a second life as something wearable today. As an authentic archaeological find, it's inherently one of a kind — no two owl artifacts carved centuries apart will ever look the same.
