The Zephyros pendant, part of the German Kabirski Artifact Collection, features an authentic Hellenistic-era (circa 4th–1st century BCE) seal, carved into Lapis Lazuli and portraying a profiled noble or deity with an elaborate headdress or crown, detailed curls, and facial adornments. Set in oxidized 925 silver, the pendant is accented by a raw Tsavorite in a 9K gold frame, introducing an organic contrast to the finely carved figure.
The name Zephyros, inspired by the Greek god of the west wind, reflects the cultural exchange between Greek and Eastern traditions during the Hellenistic period. The ornate hairstyle and regal headgear suggest Persian or Eastern influence, common in Greek art after Alexander the Great's conquests and the establishment of Greco-Bactrian and Seleucid territories.
